DPF Engineering Launches New Brand

DPF Engineering, the Carlow-based precision engineering company trusted by global clients in the medical, aerospace and high tech sectors, has rebranded with a new corporate identity and company-wide initiative focused on quality.

In just over 10 years, Seamus Lancaster and his team have brought the company from humble beginnings to an Enterprise Ireland backed organisation at the cusp of global expansion. Seamus, who started out as a toolmaker and CNC programmer, very quickly became an ambitious entrepreneur and expert in his field.

Seamus embarked on the DPF journey with the purchase of his first CNC Milling machine in 2010. He then recruited and trained a team of skilled professionals to help him turn DPF into the thriving, quality-focused engineering solutions company it is today.

Commenting on the launch of the new brand and corporate identity, Seamus explains “Everything we do at DPF revolves around quality – not only in the parts we manufacture, the processes we use and the logistics and supply chain management – but also in our relationships with our staff, our clients and our suppliers. I wanted DPF to have a brand that reflected that ethos and I’m delighted that the new DPF logo not only looks great but also has a lot of meaning behind it.”

The diamond shape of the logo, is made up of a series of interlocking arrows, reflects quality, forward thinking and ambition.

The dark green, teal and jade colour scheme reflects the company roots and the Irish landscape. The secondary colour palette uses splashes of burnt orange to signify the vibrancy of this young energetic company – “we take our work seriously” Seamus explains, “but we also value the courage to be innovative and creative”.

The font uses soft curves combined with pointed extenders, reflecting the friendly openness of the DPF team and the razor-sharp precision of their work.

The logo symbolises what DPF does, what the company stands for and the vision for the future, where digitalization and innovation will lead the way.

“I want our team to be proud to wear the DPF logo, our local community to share in our success through better employment opportunities and our global customers to know with 100% certainty that the DPF logo represents quality.”
