Based in Carlow, we have been manufacturing complex metallic components and assemblies for the Aerospace, Semicon and Med-Tech industries since 2010. We have a Centre of Excellence approach which underscores the importance of skills advancement, process improvement, quality control and investment in high tech CNC machining equipment to meet our customer demands for best quality, best cost and on time delivery of product.
For DPF, the customers profile, technology requirements and operational requirements are changing and becoming more complex. DPF need to develop standard working methods, enhance process development and continue upskilling to keep up with the new requirements.
Reports to: Engineering Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· NPI & technical transfers.
· Develop methods, strategies and programs for new parts
. Provide solutions for the development of customer’s products, i.e. design for manufacture, selection of materials, research, design, build, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain all of the Work holding, Tooling, fixtures, Jigs, production aids, production processes and other systems (made or bought), which are required to make the company’s products.
· CAM system optimization for full machine tool utilization.
· Produce standard operating procedures (SOP) and work instructions (WI) used in the production of the Company’s products
· Engage constructively with other functions and colleagues within the Company to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
· Resolve problems in production processes in a timely and controlled manner.
Skills
· Proven capability in CNC Programming and operating of Multiaxis Mill/Turn Lathes and 5 Axis Milling is Essential
· ideal candidate profile would be a time served Toolmaker or experienced CNC machinist with significant programming experience in CAM packages such as Fusion, HSM or Hypermill.

· Have a practical, constructive approach to problem solving.
Additional
· Training will be provided in areas where skills and knowledges gaps are identified.

Pay: €40,000.00-€52,000.00 per year
